Resettling - ELC's and You

Leaving the armed services will no doubt be a culture shock, taking time to integrate and adjust to newfound civilian life.

But having served, a great range of qualities and skills will have been developed that are readily transferable - in fact they are highly desirable in civilian life and more importantly by employers.

We've found military personnel to be quick learners, having spent entire careers adapting into different roles and developing new capabilities.

But to excel outside the army, your new career depends on qualifications, skills and experience.

That's where we can help.

Enhanced Learning Credits are the result of an incredibly valuable MOD initiative, centred around helping those leaving a military career.

The ELC scheme, put simply, offers you up to £6,000 (dependent on length of service) to gain a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above.

The idea behind this helpful scheme lies in the optics of these qualifications. The learning and certificates you gain, combined with previous military experience, makes a service leaver look far more appealing to employers.

For more than 20 years Quanta have been one of the leading training partners for ex-military, specialising in:

Project Management, Technical IT and Cyber Security training.

In short, we've helped thousands find rewarding and fulfilling civilian jobs.

"Having looked at my different options, I went to my resettlement officers who told me that I should approach Quanta.

After looking at the available courses, I decided that Quanta offered everything that I needed to do.

I booked the Agile Foundation and Practitioner course, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner and Lean Six Sigma.

I really enjoyed the training, particularly learning about what the Scrum Master role is about – understanding the requirements of individuals, and facilitating their needs.

I highly recommend Quanta. The booking staff have been nothing but flexible, and the training staff are extremely knowledgeable – it's almost like a religion to them."
